On Friday 13th April, the ANZAC Commemorative Ceremony was once again an outstanding tribute to the men and women who founded the ANZAC tradition over 100 years ago on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey and then on the Western Front in Europe. It was great to see so many residents from Brightwater, parents and relatives attending the ceremony. Having the commemorative ceremony at the end of the day allowed more parents to attend. Your support for the ANZAC tradition and the school is greatly valued. I would like to thank Ms Gawned, Miss O’Connor, Mrs Butler, the choir, the Year 6 students and everyone who assisted in making the ceremony such a memorable experience.
