The Parent and Citizens Association consists of a group of enthusiastic parents who are involved in assisting the school with social, community, educational and fund raising activities. We have a Parent and Citizens Association for the whole campus (JPS and JESC combined).
The Parent and Citizens Association provides a vital link between parents and the school. Both Joondalup Primary Schools enjoy a strong parent and community involvement. Your participation in the Parent and Citizens Association is one of many ways in which you can have a direct, personal contribution to your child’s education.
As with every school, the Parent and Citizens Association hold events to raise funds. In the past, these funds have been used to purchase reading and math’s resources, sport equipment, interschool uniforms, library furniture and portable gazebos to name a few as well as assisting with funding the annual school camp.
By joining the Parent and Citizens Association you will be able to form new friendships with other like-minded people and have some fun along the way.
The Association meets at 7.00pm on every third Wednesday of each month in the school staff room and an invitation is extended to all parents to come along; meetings are advertised in the school newsletter.
