Interschool Cross Country

On Wednesday 29 May selected students competed in the Interschool Cross-Country event. The weather was not ideal and at times the students, teachers and parents got very wet. Joondalup Primary School finished 4^th overall with the  students giving an incredible performance. The students showed great team spirit cheering and supporting their fellow students. Both Mrs Egan and I were very proud of all everyone.

A special mention goes to a few students who were podium finishers on the day. Jaxon from Year 6 who came 1st place overall. In Year 2, Gael finished 2nd and Ivy in 3rd. In Year 5 Charlotte finished in 4th place.

It was great to see the training, commitment and improvement that the students have shown in preparation for this event. The Year 6’s should be extremely proud of themselves for their final primary school cross country finishing so exceptionally.

Winter Lightning Carnival

Year 5 and 6 students have now been selected to represent Joondalup Primary School at the Interschool Carnival on Monday June 24 (Week 11) at Kingsway Sporting Complex. We have a very excited group of students and it should be a great day. Please make sure you have completed the online consent and payment on Compass, closing date is Monday 17 June. 

We are also looking for a parent volunteer to be an umpire for Netball on the day. If you are able to help please contact Mr Morrey or Miss Mercer.

Faction Carnival

Joondalup School's Faction Carnival will take place on Friday 13 September. If you are able to supply large 1kg empty Milo tins for the event please donate them to the front office.
