Each year Western Australians use 1.3 BIILION drink containers. Sadly, most of these are not recycled, ending up in landfill and as litter across our state.

Introducing Cash for Containers here at school. Thanks to our partnership with Scouts WA we have become a community collection point. Each container will earn 10 cents for the school. So bring your eligible containers in, pop them into the big blue bin behind the staffroom as you come into school. 

Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard beverage containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible for a refund. You can also identify eligible containers by their refund mark.

Handy tip: make sure your containers are empty and the lids are off!  Lids can be dropped into the small bin on the Grow Free Cart
